The Baptist Women's Fellowship

This meeting is the longest running Ladies meeting of the Church.  We have 40 members, some of course are not able top attend because of age or indisposition.

Josie & Betty.

We have 25 to 30 ladies meeting every Thursday at 2.0'clock in the CLC Hall.  Ladies come from various churches or no church, and many over the years have enjoyed our Fellowship and Friendship and have started coming to our Church regularly.

We have a time of praise and worship, and Prayer is important, when we remember each week those who are 'shut-ins', ladies who are ill or in hospital and those who have struggles in their lives, and difficulties in their families.  We have seen many answers to our prayers - to which we give our thanks to God.

Meeting in the CLC Hall.

We have different and lively speakers each week, who speak on a variety of topics. Our members afternoons have proved very enjoyable, when ladies give a word of testimony, read a portion of Scripture, recite poems, sing a solo or give a short message.

Music plays a large part in our meetings and we have entertained several ladies' choirs and also a male voice choir coming to sing to us. After the Service we have tea and biscuits meeting in groups around the small tables and much chatter takes place.

We give a warm welcome to all ladies, whatever your age, and you can  be assured of real  friendship amongst us. If you would like to come along to our next meeting, then we would be happy to see you. You can also e-mail enquiries to find out further information, or visit the Calendar to find out when the next meeting takes place.
